Kim Dincel

Kim Dincel received his law degree in 1987 from Loyola Law School in Southern California. He is licensed to practice in all federal and state courts within California and has spent the last 28 years practicing law in the San Francisco Bay area. 

Mr. Dincel currently practices in the areas of long-term health care, cyber theft, general business and commercial litigation, maritime law, construction, trust litigation, contract and real estate matters. He has handled numerous trials to verdict and has argued before both the state and federal courts of appeal. 

Mr. Dincel has been an AV rated attorney by Martindale Hubbell since 2003. Since 2014, he has been recognized as one of Northern California's Super Lawyers

Stephanie J. Dean

Stephanie Dean returned to California to attend Santa Clara University School of Law after 9 years in Washington D.C. as Legislative Coordinator in then-Congressman Norman Y. Mineta’s Capitol Hill office and a Legislative Assistant at the NAACP Washington Bureau. Since graduating 4th in her class, she has worked as a research attorney at several bay area law firms.

Working as a law professor, Stephanie taught appellate practice, contracts, remedies, constitutional law, community property and business organizations. She is very knowledgeable about civil procedure and an expert legal writer. Her writing and analytical skills have enhanced Dincel Law Group’s representation of its clients in all types of transactions and civil litigation since she joined the firm in 2015.  

Stephanie loves photography, visits Italy frequently and is studying to become fluent in Italian.

Associate Attorney

Krista A. Clawson

Krista received her law degree from Santa Clara University in 2021. There, she sat on the boards of various student organizations and served as a student associate at the Entrepreneurs’ Law Clinic as well as an associate of the Santa Clara University High Tech Law Journal. After her second year of law school, Krista externed for the Honorable Judge Haywood Gilliam Jr. of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and subsequently worked as a law clerk at Dincel Law Group before becoming an associate attorney. She enjoys traveling, baking, and reading in her free time.

Executive Director & Paralegal

Lori A. Havener

With more than 20 years of experience, Lori Havener has the finely tuned leadership and communication skills to keep Dincel Law Group running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. Ms. Havener works as a Paralegal, Legal Support Manager and Executive Director of Dincel Law Group. Her interests outside of the office include music, travel, hiking, skiing, paddle boarding, windsurfing, kayaking and cooking, especially when there are family and friends around to eat.

Christina Oliver

Christina is a second year law student at Santa Clara University School of Law.  She is an Associate on Santa Clara's Law Review, an Associate on Santa Clara's Journal of International Law, and serves on the board of the Women and Law Association as well as the Real Estate Law Society.  Prior to beginning law school, Christina worked as a Senior Business Immigration Analyst at a large business immigration law firm where she prepared various types of immigration petitions.  She attended Sonoma State University for her undergraduate degree where she graduated a semester early with cum laude honors and department distinction.  In her free time, she enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and spending time with her friends and family.
